Cortney Miller and Akia Armstrong combined to score six points for the UNLV track & field team in less than ideal conditions Friday at the 2015 Mountain West Outdoor Championships. Miller finished fourth overall (191-3/58.29m) in the hammer throw for five points, while Akia Armstrong garnered one point with an eighth-place finish (18-4.25/5.59m) in the long jump. Overall, the Scarlet & Gray sits in ninth place with nine points heading into the fourth and final day of competition at San Diego State's Sports Deck in America's Finest City.
