FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Nevada track and field junior Demerey Kirsch completed her run in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA West Preliminary round Friday evening with a 25th place finish.

Junior Demerey Kirsch will be in action in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase scheduled for 8:50 p.m. this evening.

Competing at the NCAA West Preliminary Round hosted by the University of Arkansas Kerri Simmons and Raffaela Wiesbeck wrapped up their seasons with strong performances, but missed qualifying for the NCAA Finals.

The Wolf Pack track and field team has three athletes competing in the NCAA West Preliminary Round at the John McDonnell Field on the Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Wolf Pack track and field team will be represented by three athletes at the NCAA First Round in Fayetteville, Ark. The first round kicks off on May 29th and runs through May 31st.

The University of Nevada Track & Field team is adding 11 new members for the upcoming 2014-2015 season. Five student-athletes join the Pack from schools outside of the United States, bringing a new and unique flavor to the recruiting class.
