The UNLV track & field team will have six of its own competing in four events Thursday on day one of the NCAA West Preliminary at Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium. The Rebels will open the day at 4:30 pm with the shot put, while the 100m and long jump will take place prior to the 800m at 8:35 pm.
