The UNLV track & field team participated in three events at UCLA's Legends Invitational Friday and came away with a pair of second-place finishes in the 5000m and hammer throw. Spencer Moore ran a time of 17:24.57 in the former, while Cortney Miller (Las Vegas/Calvary Chapel Christian HS) threw a distance of 188-1 (57.34m) in the latter. In all, the Rebels had seven of their own place eighth or better on day one of the meet hosted at Drake Stadium.
