UNLV track & field's Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete ran a personal-best time of 2:01.14 to earn a trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in two weeks (June 6-9). Wilson-Perteete's time was second only to Oregon's Sabrina Southerland's 2:00.72 at the NCAA West Preliminary at Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium. Additionally, those two times are the fastest by NCAA student-athletes this season.
